As he begins the latest chapter in his career on Monday, I raise my hand in blessing.
May you be ever resourceful in your work; may you be daily refreshed from the hand of God. May your work reflect the many gifts God has given you and may other lives be blessed through your work.
May your commute never be frustrating; rather may it be a place between ‘there’ and ‘here’ where you find something new every day. And though time in traffic is seldom ‘quiet’, may it be a time of reflection and peace for you.
May God grant you eyes to see, ears to hear, a mind to understand, and hands to do. May you speak encouragement into the lives of all you meet, and may you be the Light and Salt; bringing seasoned understanding into all situations in which you find yourself.
May The Sovereign Lord of all eternity, all dimensions, all matter, and all forces, seen and unseen, known and unknown, grant you special insight into the expression of time, dimensions, materials, and methods for others.
May you be able to find a quiet place nightly where you may meet and speak with the Lord.
And may it be for you every day as Isaiah wrote (30:21):
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
