God’s Tiny Machines

Just when you think God is all about big stuff like galaxies and stars and mountains and clouds, along comes something that reminds you about how his work is visible in the tiniest things. And this is just another small look into the kind of engineering which God uses in creation.

This reminds me of Psalm 90 (v.16), from the Prayer of Moses:

May your deeds be shown to your servants,
your splendor to their children.

God continues to allow us to see something new, as we seek it. But the newness here is to us; for every living thing has DNA, his creation. As I was watching, I found myself asking, “What God is this, who invents these things?”

No wonder it took him six days and he rested on the seventh…
