It occurred to me that a lot of the wisdom of former generations is being lost in the rush and distractions of the computer-literate generation. There is an awful lot of noise on the internet.
Meanwhile there are a lot of things that will never go out of style:
- How to check a tire
- How to handle a kerosene lamp
- Why you need to have quiet time
- Ways to get that quiet time
- Things your great-grandparents should have told you
- God’s love for you
These things are but a tiny fraction among those which need to be written down somewhere for others; also the viewpoints from which they came. There are far too few voices from our past that are heard any more.
And I promise to add wisdom, not noise.
